SR22 Non Owners Insurance Mesa Arizona

What is the difference between SR22 insurance coverage and SR-22 Non Owners insurance coverage?

Harold

Mesa AZ

Harold,

Basically an SR22 form must be filed by insurer to show proof to the state that you have the required liability limits in place. Typically it is required for drivers you got convicted of driving without insurance and in some states, it is part of reinstatement procedure if your drivers license has been suspended due to serious offense such as DUI/DWI.

If you are required to get a SR-22 certificate of financial responsibility and you do not own an automobile, then you may be able to get a Non-Owners SR-22. Generally a non-owners SR-22 permits the the insured to operate any car that they are given permission to use by the car owner, unless a household member is the car owner.

So basically the difference between the SR-22 Non-Owners insurance and the regular SR22 insurance coverage is that with a SR-22 Non-Owners insurance policy you do not own a car to directly place insurance on. While with a SR-22 insurance policy you own a car in which the insurance is put on.

Antique Car Insurance Sedona Arizona

What is an Agreed Evaluation for my vintage car?

Frank,

Sedona, AZ.

Frank,

An agreed valuation can be considered as the value that is guaranteed by an insurer in case the vehicle gets stolen or damaged so badly that it cannot be repaired. If you own a vintage car and want to get a vintage car insurance then make sure that you have checked that the valuation is guaranteed.

This needs to be done because there have been instances when an insurer refused to make the payments of the full amount even if the owner believes that they were recovered fully.

Vintage car insurance can be expensive but worth while. Insurance your classic or vintage car collection with this simple guide and get a free auto insurance quote online in a matter of minutes. Find your free report on the top 3 auto insurance agents of all time.

Classic Car Insurance Sedona Arizona

What is considered a classic car verses an antique and can I get insurance on one of these vehicles?

Scott

Sedona, AZ.

Scott,

Expensive, high maintenance, status symbol and glamorous are some of the epithets associated with classic cars, but in reality there are many old motor vehicles that do not belong to this stereotype.

A lot of owners feel that a cherished Austin A40 that is parked in a supermarket is similar to a ‘Classic Car’ like a Mark Jaguar at Ascot. Such historical and exotic vehicles can be generally described within three categories, for which classic car insurance can be used. The three categories are:

Vintage cars: cars that were manufactured between 1903 and 1933.

Veteran cars: cars manufactured before 1903.

Classic cars: cars manufactured before 1973 or at least fifteen years back. There are a lot of variations in the definition of a Classic car and it depends a lot on the insurer. Any special insurance product is not at all offered by most of the major motor insurance companies. They just provide the simple insurance cover that is provided to anyone who drives a modern car.

Great Question.
